Morobe Govenor, Kelly Naru has accepted the challenge of his National Capital District counterpart, Powes Parkop, to a Sunday morning walk in Lae.
Mr. Parkop challenged Governor Naru to an early morning walk from the University of Technology, to the Sir Ignatius Kilage stadium, where the 6th P-N-G Games opening will take place. However, in a counter-challenge, Naru has told Parkop that the walk will start at 4 o' clock in the morning and not 6 o' clock as the latter has suggested. "With due respect 6 o'clock is a very late starting point because I don't wait until 6 o'clock. "You know I start a 4 o'clock and you tok 6 o'clock yah, 6 o'clock is the time when I finish my walk and I am ready to go for church service. "So if you want to start at 6, you can start at 6 and finish at 8 o'clock and other people will wait for him. "But by 8 o'clock when he finishes I'm already in church service, so if you really want to take the challenge, then I want to say to my good brother that forget about 6 o'clock, mona, yumi kirap long 4 o'clock na yumi wokabaut," Governor Naru said.
