The Finance Minister James Marape has assured his fellow members in parliament today that they will receive their remaining PSIPs and DSIPs funds very soon.
The Minister when responding to question from the Member for Kabum regarding the full release of the funds to the district's and provinces, says the funds are for the people and so will be all released. So far 30% of the project funds have been dished out already, which is about K3million each. Marape explains that this year's roll out program depended on the cash flow situation in the country and due to the economic situation things have been slow; however, he assures every member that 50% of the PSIPs and DSIPs will be released by end of August.
