Member for Chuave Wera Mori said he is seriously considering taking the state to court for malicious prosecution.
Mr Mori was arrested and charged with 37 counts of official corruption, bribery and misappropriation. The charges were in relation to the road constructions, that his company Mori Resources Limited carried out along the Chimbu Section of the Highlands highway. The case was dismissed by the Waigani National Court after the court found, irregularities in the charges against him, laid by police. Mr Mori said the court case had prevented him from serving his people of Chuave and has also tarnished his reputation. ''I am so up hold that so call complainants who are not a party to the contract. Outride lies and deceit and they have collaborated with police to a basically tannins my integrity, and so I am calling on the police Police Commissioner and that I have in future the Police Commissioner must be able take stock of his policemen, so he does not allow policemen to bring the integrity of the royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary into dispute".
