More members of the Australian Federal Police will arrive in PNG, this time to be deployed to Mount Hagen city, in the Western Highlands province.
Provincial Police Commander Martin Lakari confirmed this, saying up to twenty officers will be deployed, under the Enhanced Cooperation Program signed between the PNG and Australian Governments. The Australians will play advisory roles, and support police officers in Western Highlands. PPC Lakari is urging his officers, to cooperate and work with the Australian officers. Comments are closed.
