The Member for Goilala, has expressed disappointment over opportunists forcing themselves into one of his residence at Gordons, in demand for compensation over the death of a young boy from Western Highlands.
Daniel Mona is appealing to relatives of the deceased and communities at Gordons to respect the rule of law and allow police to continue their investigations. Mr Mona made the appeal after handing over four murder suspects to Homicide Detectives at Boroko Police Station yesterday. The suspects were involved in the brutal murder of the young boy believed to be the son of Highlands Divisional Commander Teddy Tei a fortnight ago. An appeal to Goilala Community last week saw the suspects surrender to Police in Tapini, and were later brought in. The Goilala MP says he has taken responsibility in supporting police and relatives of the deceased, bring the suspects to justice, and he expects relatives of the deceased to stop harassing his people and allow the law to take its course.
