Minister for Health and HIV AIDS Michael Malabag has assured unions within the health sector that the proposed Port Moresby General Hospital Bill will benefit them in the long run.
Mr Malabag gave the assurance after the National Doctors Association went against the proposed bill last week. Mr Malabag said the proposed bill is in line with the Public Hospitals Act, National Administration Act and the Provincial Health Authority Act and proposes an ambitious and exciting vision for the future. "Our Union let me assured them, this is part of government policies that we will move into, no one will loss out on anything. In fact this will allow them to get better salary, better conditions of employment and this will also allow to bring specialists in to look after our people". Comments are closed.
