Nine P-N-G overseas-based players are among the 23-member Kumuls Team, selected to the Rugby League World Cup in the United Kingdom, this month.

PNG Rugby Football League Chairman Don Fox announced the squad yesterday with Paul Aiton, Jason Chan, Jesse Joe Nandye, Menzie Yere in United Kingdom, David Mead, Neville Costigan, Nene MacDonald, James Segeyaro and Ray Thompson in the NRL. They will join the squad which will be assembling in Port Moresby next Monday before they depart for England the following Monday 14th of October. The local based players are Josiah Abavu, Dion Aiye, Albert Wellington, Ase Boas, Israel Eliab, Richard Kambo, Roger Laka, Enock Maki, Larsen Marabe, Mark Mexico, Sebastian Pandia, Francis Paniu,J ason Tali and Charlie Wabo.
