Parliament Speaker Theo Zurenuoc,hosteda special luncheon prayer gathering at Parliament House yesterday afternoon, to mark the 7th National Repentance and Prayer Day.
Hundreds of residents in Port Moresby, gathered at the Parliament as early as 4 o'clock to pray and worship. Senior Pastors of different churches including mainline, evangelical and Pentecostal led with prayers as the faithfuls sang songs or worship and praise. The pastors asked for forgiveness and mercy for all citizens including politicians, heads of government departments, Churches and public servants among others.
