The Supreme Court today ruled against an appeal by the Minister James Marape challenging Director of National Fraud and Anti Corruption Mathew Directorate Damaru and his Deputy Timothy Gitua in joining proceedings that issued an interim injunction against the arrest of Minister Marape and Prime Minister Peter O'Neill . The arrest relates to fraudulent payments to Paraka Lawyers. Both Damaru and Gitua are now parties to the proceedings after this ruling as they have an interest in the proceedings as lead investigators. Both investigators can now move their application to set aside the stay order preventing the arrest.
