Landslides and landslips between Poroma and Nipa Districts of Southern Highlands have reportedly cut off the Mendi-Tari section of the Okuk highway, since Tuesday.
National Newspaper reporter, Peter Wari told NBC News from the sites yesterday, the disaster, happened near Det village in the Poroma L-L-G area and Senin Village in the Nipa District, following two weeks of heavy rain. Wari said, there are also reports of over five landslides along the same section of the highway. Comments are closed.
