of Papua New Guinea yesterday issued his congradulatory messages to medal winners Dika Toua and Steven Kari for their outstanding performance at the XX Commonwealth Game in Glassgaowm Scotland. "On behalf of my wife Lady Esmie and the people of Papua New Guinea, laet me say congradulations and job well done, Dika and Steven. You have done us and our country proud. No doubt it is also a proud moment for you and a deserving one at that for all your effort, dedication and commitment to the sport of weightlifting. Your achievement in an international event such as the Commonwealth Games and against some of the world's best sporting athletes is an inspiration to all of us and proves that Papua New Guineans too can achieve great outcome in whatever they do. Well deserved, congratulations ," Grand Chief Sir Micheal Somare said. The Governor General also commended other athletes in Team PNG who are competing in their respecting sports at Commomwealth Games. "I commend you all for your efforts and for representing our country at the Commonwealth Games. You have worked hard for this and we are proud of all you have done as ambassadors of our nation.
