Political analysts, say Government numbers may dwindle, as Parliament prepares to meet for its final session for the year, and a much talked-about Vote of No Confidence from the Opposition.
Despite Prime Minister surrounded by a numerical strength to address the media today, there were notable absences. They include members of the ruling PNC, in Lae MP Loujaya Kouza who had spoken against the Government over its handling of the Lae City Authority Act and the recent Lae Tidal Basin fiasco, Komo-Magarima MP Francis Potape over the PNG LNG landowner benefits. Other notable absences include Works Minister Francis Awesa, Environment and Conservation's John Pundari, Education Minister Nick Kuman, all Highlands Governor's except Souther Highlands'William Powi, and all MP's from the Eastern Highlands and Simbu provinces.
