Cheating in National Exam is a real issue in the country with the limited space in tertiary institutions. The Examination Malpractice Investigation & Review Committee investigated 9 provinces implicated of exam malpractice. One of the interesting finding according to Deputy Chairman of the Task Force Dr Arnold Kukari, provinces that were alleged to have cheated in the exams sent more students to tertiary institutions. Education Minister Nick Kuman upon receiving the report said "every government and nation succeeds with education and therefore it's integrity must be upheld." Minister Kuman said the hope of every child in the country must be restored and such complacency and fraudulent means to gain access to examination papers must be curbed. The minister will now bring the 62 recommendations to the cabinet for consideration and implementation of the long term recommendations. The Education Department has been tasked to take heed of the recommendation's made by a special task force committee chaired by Dr Musawe Sinebare that investigated the malpractice and cheating in national exams.
