Fighting has stopped but tensions are still high in the Hohola suburb of the Nation’s Capital and has already seen 2 deaths so far. The fighting that started out on Friday has again seen all the Schools in Hohola closed down and business houses are on high alert this morning as fighting started as early as 5am this morning with high powered guns believed to have been used along with bows and arrows, at least 10 homes were burnt in this morning’s fighting. The Hohola Youth Development Centre Principal Brr Anthony Swamy this morning cancelled their Grade 10 Examination because of the fighting at the settlement at the back of the school where arrows shot from bows landed together with stone thrown into the schools. Residents and business houses are calling on the law to step in and address the situation because the clash has put a hold on everything around Hohola including schooling. PNGFM
