While the governments Tuition Fee Free Policy has given rise to enrollments in all schools around the country since 2011, Education Department is concerned at the level of corruption by schools and teachers in some provinces and how they handle the funds meant for students. Acting Secretary Dr. Uke Kombra while supporting claims that PNG was not broke, said the government would continue to deliver its commitments in rolling out TFF funds throughout 2016 academic year but urged the schools to properly manage the funds that are allocated to their respective schools. He said the department is faced with challenges of schools sending in inflated enrolment figures to claim more funding from the government. “We are now putting in place measures and strategies to ensure there is some quality in the enrollment figures that we collect,” said Kombra
