A meeting gets underway in Port Moresby today, with heads of schools, to see which ones are willing to trial a census project.
Education Secretary, Dr. Michael Tapo said, this exercise is being piloted in 13 schools of N-C-D, but halted, after an attack on his officers by members of the public at the Catholic-run Holy Rosary Primary School at Six Mile, last week.
The people accused the group of giving students at the school, the mark of the beast or triple six.
Dr. Tapo said, the team was using an Access Management Control Machine (A-M-C-M), which uses the technology that a bio-plus machine, such as those used in offices where one can use fingerprints to clock in and out.
He said, he will penalize the school for allowing the public to interrupt the census project, pending investigations.
