Bougainvilleans have been urged to cooperate in fast tracking all the activities that will prepare Bougainville for Referendum to Independence.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Andrew Miriki says he is keen on seeing the implementation of plan, the A-B-G and its administration have on developing and preparing Bougainville for the Referendum. He emphasised the issue of human resources such as education, health and manufacturing sector must be fast tracked. Mr Miriki also challenged the former combatants to lay down their difference and work together with the ABG in ensuring pace and stability is maintained in the region. He suggested that the best contribution that former combatants can make towards referendum leading to independence is by assisting the work of law and order. Miriki called on all the leaders to unite and work together in the spirit of partnership to accomplish this important task before 2015. Speaker Miriki also reminded the leaders that time is running out and Bougainville has only one year left before the people vote for referendum. Comments are closed.
