Three students from Unitech who were charged with the murder of fellow colleague late Graham Romanong have been refused bail by the Lae National Court. The students who requested bail through their lawyer depended on grounds that they were arrested without any evidence and that they were not evading police but were leaving Lae in fear of their safety along with other students when they were intercepted by police. Justice Frazer Pitpit made the ruling that investigations were still ongoing and that the three students should remain in police custody until investigations are complete for their own safety.
