Australians will no longer be automatically granted visas on arrival in Papua New Guinea as of today, Radio New Zealand reports.
Non-Australian passport holders will still be able to obtain a visa on arrival in PNG. This follows a directive by PNG's government which is understood to stem from its frustrations at Canberra's reluctance to ease visa restrictions for Papua New Guineans entering Australia. PNG has often requested Australia to ease VISA restrictions but this has not eventuated. Comments are closed.
