The planned peaceful march organized by civil societies to be staged on Monday 2nd November has been deferred to a later date.
This was announced today by politician and anti-corruption activist Noel Anjo who says they will not have a peaceful march on Monday because they will be sorting out documents to lodge the contempt charges against the Police for disrupting their peaceful march last week. "Also since the Opposition will also be having a public forum on Monday as well regarding the alternative government policy presentation and speak on issues of national interest, it will be fair to have everyone converge at the Jack Pidik Park to hear what the opposition members will have to say so we defer our planned protest march," said Anjo. This forum will began at 12noon till 3pm in the afternoon at the Jack Pidik Park on Monday 2nd November 2015.
