Political activist and People's Movement leader, Noel Anjo has file and served contempt of court documents to NCD Police Chief Benjamin Turi and Police Commision Gari Baki for defiance of National Court Order and suppressing and depressing people's constitutional rights to protest and petition the PM to step a side over many allegations against his government. The contempt notice was served to Clement Havale police lawyer at Met Sup's office and Willie Laka admin Officer at COP's office. Mr. Anjo filed and served the contempt notice after Police denied a planned protest march to Parliament against the government. The Waigani court had allowed Anjo and his People's Movement group to go ahead with the protest but this was stopped by the police stating security concerns in the city.
