The Deputy Prime Minister says, PNG's financial investment in preparing and hosting various aspects of the Trade and Investment Road Show and Fair, is based on the Government's belief that the Melanesian Spearhead Group and its relevance and value to its members is at the crossroads.
Leo Dion made the remarks yesterday when welcoming MSG Trade Ministers to the 2nd Trade and Investment Road Show and Trade Fair in Port Moresby. Mr Dion said while the economic, social, cultural and environment dynamics present unique challenges, we must show appreciation that we are part of a bigger global community that is opening up for free trade under a more integrated common market. P-N-G being part of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation or A-P-E-C will be graduating into the league of major developing economies after we host the A-P-E-C summit for the first time. "They're serious in thinking our position of break any investment within APEC because they are killing with bigger issues like access to bigger markets , mainly for trade especially being prove by activity and the bank need of competition reducing the cause of living and the cause of doing business as a global competitor."
