It is very disturbing, aghast and disgusting to hear the same Minister over again involved in the latest scandalous over Petroleum Licenses. Now the Minister has his partner in crime, Simon Ketan. Apparently both the Minister and his partner in crime is PNG Lawyer by profession. Both hailed from the Western Highlands Province. The people of Western Highlands must be deeply embarrassed by the duo greedious act to tarnished their province name.
Isn't it enough after ripping from the Manumanu Land deal Minister? Both of you have not only tarnished your province name but bring disrepute to the country as whole. Shame on you both!!!
Imagine a company wanted a licence, instead of 100 percent equity in the license they ended up with the License and owning 70 percent. How about that?
Two new Equity partners incorporated a company few weeks before the Petroleum Advisory Board sat and approved their licences. One had 20 percent while the other named Elevela Energy had 10 percent.
In reality both had no assets, staff and operations. Is this how PNG Petroleum Board issued Licenses blindly without any due diligence done on the company assets, financial background and etc. Any Tom, Dick and Harry can incorporate a company within days or weeks, bleach their skin white and license's can be on a silver platter. Isn't that wonderful?
PMJM and the Petroleum Minister Kerenga Kua seriously need to reprimand the slack Board or show them the door, full stop! Secondly, the URP Members need to seriously hold a caucus meeting to replace their Political Leader. You don't need such leader as a thief with no integrity, moreso to robbed from his own people who are struggling to survive. Do you call such a leader?
Would say, thank to ASX and Financial Review for exposing the rot.
Clear clarification and explanation needed on this situation....discuss with certainty.
