He said all MPs should chip in to pay for the People’s House.
An irate Yama also said that all security personal involved, including any politician involved in conspiring with security force to rampage parliament, should be punished and appropriate charges laid against them.
He told the Post-Courier in an interview that the Parliament House is for the people and should be treated with respect.
“We should get proper costings and estimates and all Members of Parliament (MPs) including me, should chip in to pay for the people’s House.
“And once it is maintained, what happened should never happen and repeated.
“Secondly, all security personal involved including any politician involved or any conspiracy with security force members to rampage parliament, should thoroughly be investigated and appropriate charges must be laid against them.
“We have only one law for this country, big or small, you break the law, and take it into your own hands, you must face the consequences of this action yourself and you must explain to the court of law, not to the politicians, or anybody for this matter.
“Police hierarchy must set up a special task force to apprehend everyone involved.
“And they must be arrested and charged and face the court. PNG is waiting with interest in this case.”
