By Anton Polaiap The buck stops with our leaders for not doing enough. For saying something in public and doing the complete opposite in private. A father at home is a leader. He sets the pace for the future. The children see at a tender age and follow throughout their adult life. The same father is a community leader. He quadruples the stain on the moral fabrics of society. Society is misled. Society is taken for granted and abused. But the father says it’s ok. He doesn’t take correction very easily to maintain his ‘big man’ stature. He gets violent and contaminates the minds of men, women and children, thereby ultimately giving life to corruption. How then can we fight ourself? Nogat nau. Painim ol arapela lain lo sutim tok. Em asua blo yupla ol pipol. Yupla ino save harim tok. If there is any disobedience, fathers are the worst incomprehensible guilty lot. This very same father runs for office and gets elected. Now you know where our problems take root. Corruption is a byproduct of the compromise fathers make on a daily basis. FATHERS, ARE YOUR HEARTS RIGHT? Are your hearts right with GOD, who imparts wisdom and understanding in order for you to lead and fight corruption effectively?
If it is not, you are not ready to lead. Em tasol. The adverse impact of a fathers heart that is not right positions himself as a corruption fighter speaking with forked tongues. Some corruption fighters work in the public service whilst some work in the private sector. Private sector fighters are forever in the business of looking to square off a crooked deal to make a living. Public service fighters drive government plated vehicles that are heavily tinted and pimped as if these were private vehicles. Public servants load their wantoks over the legal limit, allow their wives, husbands and relatives to drive these vehicles without permission. Even some drivers don’t have a PTB license to drive those cars. Some pimp them as if they own them. Others just don’t care at all. The vehicles are dented and smashed, mostly doing private runs, and taxpayers end up footing the bill to fix the car. The cameras at the traffic lights record a startling view of how terribly forked tongue Papua New Guineans are. We say something and do the other. If one proclaims to be a fighter, their hearts must be right. Only then can we win this war. #Pngpolitics #NGE2022 #png #corruptioneverywhere #corruptionmustfall #CorruptionFree Next : East New Britain Administrator Arrested Comments are closed.
