The PNG Barramundis have defeated Nambia by eight wickets today. This now qualify the Barramunids for the top six playoffs at the 50 Overs World Cup Qualifiers..
Sensational 21-year-old Lega Siaka led PNG to victory scoring 112 runs of 82 balls smashing nine 4s and seven 6s. Namabia won the toss earlier and decided to bat scoring a target of 163 runs for the Barras to chase. PNG reached the target in just 25 overs and eight wickets in hand. Superb bowling by brothers Chris and Charles Amini and Pipi Raho each taking two wickets had Namibia in trouble in the top order batmen with two ducks and five batsmen scoring single figures. Namabia was all out for 163 runs after 48.4 overs. In the Barras innings J.Kila scored 11 runs, Assad Vala made 16 runs and G.Jones got 12 runs not out.
