The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Former Correctional Service (CS) Commissioner Michael Waipo by putting a temporary stay on his termination and reinstating him again as the CS Commissioner. Commissioner Waipo said he was humbled by the courts decision and the first thing he planned to need to do is to have a round table discussion to address stability. "The infighting must stop and trust must be restored and unity within the correctional service must prevail,” he said. Mr Waipo further added that he is awaiting the current Acting CS Commissioner Bernard Nepo to return from his Highlands provincial tour before meeting with him and urges all correctional officers to put differences aside and work for a common good.
