The University of Goroka lecturers may go on strike even though a big reconciliation between the students and the administration of the University of Goroka is planned for this week following a month of unrest on campus recently.
There’s word around on campus that most of the lecturers will go on strike soon after as they are not happy about their offices and work being destroyed by students during the unrest on campus. But the interim council of the university says they will not want to see the remainder of this year’s academic year being disturbed by any unrest of boycotts that will hinder the institutions progress or students studies.
