There will be no protest tomorrow in Port Moresby city as planned by the Coalition of Civil Society Groups. That’s the word from the National Capital District (NCD) Metropolitan Superintendent Mr. Benjamin Turi after police banned the protest. He warned that anyone who will try to push for a protest will be dealt with by the police. “Tomorrow there will be no protest and everything will be normal with schools and other organiations open and PMV buses must continue their service," he said. Meanwhile, the Bismillah Super Market in Gerehu was looted by opportunists this morning and Turi said this is the sort of thing police don’t want to see happening in the city triggered by a protest.
