Telikom PNG employees are still adamant with their demands for the sacking of their Chief Executive Officer, Michael Donnelley and Chairman Mahesh Patel, despite returning to work yesterday.
The Union gave the Management 24 hours until today to respond favourably to their demands. However, the PNG Communication Workers Union General Secretary Jeffery Borari says, they've decided to go back to work, because the Union is currently working on an instrument to assist them conduct a secret ballot for a stop work. Mr. Borari claims the Telikom Board is also behind its employees in this action adding they've instructed their lawyers to file a case against the CEO for perjury for proceeding with the Spill and Fill Policy, despite the matter currently before the courts.
