People in the Mul and Baiyer district will soon have better roads, thanks to the local MP Koi Trape.
Mr. Trape purchased four dump trucks and six excavators to work on roads in his electorate. The machines were presented in Baiyer, following the launching of the districts's 5-year Development Plan last Friday. Mr. Trape who is a first-time MP says, within his remaining term in Parliament, he will ensure his district connects with the other three districts in Western Highlsands, even Enga and possibly Jiwaka. He also presented 1-million Kina to mobile phone company Digicel, to build towers in his district, to facilitate communication. Mr. Trappe also asked his people, not to ask for compensation for destruction to their properties like trees, coffee and bananas.
