The government coalition has been further strengthened with the People’s National Congress entering into an Alliance Agreement with the United Resource Party this afternoon.
PNC Party leader, PM Peter O’Neill announced that both have formed an alliance to go into the next election together in 2017as a coalition partners. The parties’ entry into the Agreement is to enable government and political stability and after National Alliance and People’s Progress Party gave their commitment to support the government recently; the coalition is now very stable. “We will together also asses all the candidate our parties will endorse in 2017 National Elections and in the course of this term of parliament we will stand together until the term ends in 2017.” “Political stability is necessary for the continued growth and development of our country and that is why we feel that we do not allow discussions of instability of political structures in the country to be debated unnecessary without any given need to do so.” The stability in the government so far has seen a good number of policies passed and good amount of development. This is also evident in the achievements in education, health and law and order. The URP is lead by the Transport Minister, William Duma and has a total of eight members in parliament. “We a pleased to be in this alliance agreement and we will remain committed and loyal to the prime minister,” said Duma. URP will continue to support the government and see that working policies will continue to bring development and growth for the country
