The policeman who alleged to have bashed his wife has been arrested by police. Formal charges will be laid once all investigations into the alleged incident are complete.
Acting NCD Metropolitan Superintendent, N’Dranou Perou, says the matter is now before the courts. Following her horrific ordeal, and plea for an arrest, police have acted, arresting her husband yesterday. Police have also issued an interim protection order for Nancy Sam, to be with her family while they complete investigations into the alleged incident. Acting NCD Metropolitan Superintendent N’Dranou Perou says they will ensure justice is served. Such an act is unbecoming of a police officer, which has tarnished the reputation of the force. Mr. Perou says, police will crackdown on police officers found to be involved in such barbaric acts to ensure zero tolerance. In relation to the child abuse case of the 8 year old girl at CS Bomana, Mr. Perou says, the child has been removed from the adopted parents and is in custody of Welfare. Police are still investigating the whole incident, before an arrest can be made and for charges to be laid. Comments are closed.
