Police Commissioner Gary Baki has distanced himself from rumours of his removal as announced by the Union last week. The Police Association have threatened to pull out the services of their members last week, if the government goes ahead and removes Gary Baki as Commissioner of Police. Commissioner Baki told NBC News that the Unions are entitled to their own information and he is not part of it. "I am accountable to the government and I am accountable to the Prime Minister, and that if any one that ah,.. should tell me about my deployment as the Head of the organization , is only the Prime Minister. And through my minister of course. I think from my view is that the Police Union have been given information on faces of whats been happening within the correctional services. It has to be understood that Police Union is a Union body representing members of the police and they have the right to say what they say " NBC/PNG Facts
