The Government says it will pay for school fees for children with disabilities, attending various special schools in the country.
Education Minister Nick Kuman, made this known at Kumin Primary School in Southern Highlands Province recently, when the Treid Pacific company, launched the Tuition Fee Free Education Commodity component. He revealed this, after a blind teacher from Kumin Kalang Centre, told the gathering about his efforts in achieving a Diploma in Education at the University of Goroka. Mr Noa who is a brail trams transcribe teacher for vision impairs, sayes he's the first Southern Highlander to graduate with a Diploma in Education at the Goroka University.
