The Government says it has achieved almost 90-percent of its development agendas outlined in the Alotau Accord. Prime Minister, Peter O'Neill, told a recent development forum in Port Moresby, this is the first time in the country's history any government had achieved all its plans in one term of Parliament. The Alotau Accord is the Governments' platform for action and contains strategies and goals it pans to achieve, such as free health care and education, law and order, and infrastructure development, among others. "From observation, we are close to 85% achieving these. "WE are hoping that over the next 6 to 8 months we'll be able to complete the agendas that we have listed and of course given to the nation. "We are clearly articulating our agendas to the nation and trying, year after year, in achieving that."
