P-N-G Customs is embarking on a major housing project for its staff, in the National Capital District.
A ground breaking ceremony took place between P-N-G Customs and C-J-I-C Limited, a Chinese construction company, to kick start the 3.5-million Kina Housing project in Port Moresby. Customs Commissioner, Ray Paul said, the entity is keen on looking after its staff welfare and it's starting with houses for them, in Port Moresby and other centres as well. "It's a very important project for PNG Customs. The reason being, we are very keen to look after our staff. Now if we don't look after their welfare, we will have issues. I can confidently say, with the experience of the last two years, with this project alone, we have seen commitment from the staff and the work that they've put into the organization. And we are still keen to have more houses built but at the same time, we are looking at other ways of how we can at least meet the needs of this housing problem that we continue to have in this country" Comments are closed.
