There is sufficient funding available to complete all projects initiated by the P-N-G Sustainable Development Program Limited .
Prime Minister Peter O''Neil is adamant, that enough money is there, to complete all its project, after Chairman Sir Mekere Morauta announced last week. that P-N-G-S-D-P was stalling all its projects, due to no funding. Sir Mekere says, P-N-G-S-D-P has no funds to complete 97 projects, as money, particularly the 2012 dividend from Ok Tedi Mine were not released to it. But, the Prime Minister blasted Sir Mekere saying, it is a perception he's trying to put up, to cancel all these projects. He says, Sir Mekere does not serve the interest of the people and called on him to resign. "And Sir Mekere should shut up, and if he has any honourable left in him, he should resign, because he's got serious conflict of interest. "He's the same man who exempted BHP, and now protecting BHP, serving their interest at the expense of our people," Mr. O'Neil said. Comments are closed.
