Prime Minister Peter O'Nelil has commended Parliament for supporting the government pass a number of legislation last week. He stressed that this is a show of confidence in the O'Neill-Dion led government on how it is running the affairs of the country. Mr. O'Neill pointed out the support in the following legislation passed today last week which include: - the Constitutional Amendment (Papua New Guinea's Ownership of Hydrocarbons and Minerals and the Consolidation and Commercialization of Papua New Guinea's Business) Law, - the Organic Law on Papua New Guinea's Ownership of Hydrocarbons and Minerals and the Consolidation and Commercialization of Papua New Guinea's Law 2014, - the Constitutional Amendment (Court Restructure) Law 2015, - the Manam Resettlement Authority BIll 2015 and, - the Constructional Amendment (Dual Citizenship) Law 2015. "This is a clear indication of a Government that has the numbers and the mandate to continue to rule until 2017," Mr. O'Neill said.
