Southern Highlands Governor, William Powi has further stressed on what the Prime Minister had told the people of Kagua-Erave in his recent visit to the area to embrace the changes that are happening in their district.
Powi stressed this point during an MOA signing between the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) today, to build a health post in the remote village of Kalolo. “Tribal fights have been for far too long slowing down progress of development in the area and now the government is looking at addressing law and order issues in the area, which is of great priority,” Governor Powi said. He said the provincial government has built new police houses in the area and have put 30 policemen to man Kagu-Erave district. PNGFM
