Meantime, Paul Paraka, says he's innocent and will fight out the matter vigorously to clear his name.
Paraka says his arrest was regrettable, but he will fight it in court to clear his name and reputation. "This is not a criminal case. It's a case we can justify, for work that we have done. And the Government, through the Office of Chief Secretary, has failed to do that. But, Chief Secretary is also playing politics. He's supposed to be a public servant. He should be fair to everyone. Now, look at what they've done, just arresting me. I'm gonna prove them wrong, I'm going to win the case when the matter goes through the courts. It should not have come to this stage, we could have sat down together and resolve this matter at that level and then from there they could have determine whether the matter should go to the next level, which is the police." Paraka also denied that he was in hiding when police and Task Force Sweep officers caught up with him. Comments are closed.
