The Health Department's Disease Surveillance and Emergency Response Program Manager, Barry Ropa says over 55 thousand people in Port Moresby have already been vaccinated against a measles outbreak, and he expects more to be vaccinated in the coming weeks.
Mr. Ropa says his team will be moving into schools to vaccinate school children, starting today. The current confirmed measles cases in NCD now stands at 24, with more people, being advised to visit nearby clinics to be vaccinated against the outbreak. Comments are closed.
