Prime Minister Peter O’Neill said calls by Kerenga Kua, Don Polye and others for him to resign are self serving.
In a statement this afternoon, Mr O'Neill said Kerenga Kua and Don Polye have no mandate to make that call. He said he was mandated by the people to be the head of this government. He said if Kua or Polye wants the mandate, they have to earn it from the people at the polls or Parliament. Mr O'Neill describes the call as self serving, adding that all issues raised by Mr Kua to justify his call are decisions of the Cabinet, and not by one man. He adds Polye’s bantering is nothing new as he has been doing that since he was decommissioned as Minister. The Prime Minister said he do not have any intention to resign. Comments are closed.
