Arriving from Australia this afternoon, Opposition Leader Belden Namah, wasted no time, calling a media conference to urge the Prime Minister Peter O'Neill to respect the Office of the Prime Minister by resigning.
Namah said the longer he delays, the inevitable and disgraceful the outcome will be for him. He said it's also humiliating and calls on Peter O'Neill to present himself to police. Earlier calls by former Attorney Genneral, Kerenga Kua, East Sepik Governor Sir Michael Somare and others for the Prime Minister to resign were brushed aside by Mr. O'Neill saying, he was mandated by the people to be the head of this government.
