A second group of police mobile squad has arrived in Port Moresby this morning, in what is seen as a special operation yet to be made known.
According to NBC News more than 30 members from Mobile Squad 11 from Kerowagi in the Chimbu province flew in at the Jacksons International airport. A first group comprising more than 20-men flew in on Thursday from Mobile Squad 6 of Mount Hagen. Members of the contingents say they are on duty call, but cannot specify the nature of their calling. But Deputy Commissioner and Chief of Police Operations in the country Simon Kauba told NBC News, the extra manpower of more than 50 officers, are in Port Moresby to boost manpower to police the capital city.
