This morning at 9.30 the court again adjourned its hearing on the stay
application by PM’s lawyer Tiffany Nonggorr. This was after the judge found that there was conflict of interest between two lawyers . It is believe new Police Commisioner Geoffrey Vaki and Attorney General Ano Pala have brought in new lawyer to represent the Police. The two lawyers representing the police are Paul Mawa and Nicolas Miviri. Mawa told the court he was instructed by acting police commissioner Geoffrey Vaki and the new Attorney General to represent the police while Miviri maintained that he was not aware of the change and that he was the police lawyer. The judge was confused and issued a short adjourned to allow the two lawyers to sort out the issue of representation. Comments are closed.
