Japan's Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, has committed 20-billion-Japanese
Yen or about 4.7-billion-Kina to Papua New Guinea over the next three years. Mr. Abe announced this at the end of his meeting with Prime Minister, Peter O' Neill, yesterday evening in Parliament, where the two leaders discussed a lot of issues in relation to bilateral, regional and international cooperation between the countries and the Pacific Region. He said, Japan has decided to expand its economic cooperation by 494-point-3-million-Kina over the next three years. He said both he and Peter O' Neill agree, that their countries need to intensify their economic cooperation through a double taxation agreement. Comments are closed.
