Classes at two secondary schools in Simbu province have been cancelled today, after a rugby match over the weekend, led to fighting between the Kondiu and Kerowagi schools.
A Grade-11 student from Kondiu Secondary was hacked to death, and his body found on Sunday, after the fight at the Kerowagi Secondary School. Another student from Kondiu Secondary is missing and a search is being conducted for him. Provincial Police Commander, Superintendent Michael Welsh is appealing to relatives of the students, not to take the law into their own hands, as police investigate. Comments are closed.
