The nineteen men that escaped from the Buka Police station holding cells in the early hours of Sunday morning are still at large.
According to reports from the police, they have received word from sources that the escapees have separated from where they were last seen. The nineteen escapees for murder from Lonahan village are Junior Toreasa Peter, Edmond Hotsia Geria and Jimmy Tsiroats Peter. Immanuel Pako from Manetai armed robbery, Raymond Mogu Kenetia from Malasang armed robbery, Clarence Boinve from Pokapa Tinputz for BES, Randel Asiira from Kapokoi Kabiikii Kunua attempt murder, Rex Sobi Maris from Carteret Sexual penetration, Vincent Matoasi from Tohe Kunua Willful Murder, Mark Siabereivia from Tohe Kunua willful murder, Cosmas Rebiton from Tohe Kunua willful murder, Kenneth Kurereasi from Tohe Kunua willful murder, Felix Rerevai from Tohe Kunua, Judah Sisi from Siwai and Petats Insulting and threatening words, Alphonse Lahis from Sapani Solos sexual penetration, Paul Bobby from Tinputz rape, Tsika Kiarei from Telatu Solos dangerous drug possession, Ravesi from Subu Tinputz dangerous drug possession and Hubert Kikis possession of dangerous drug. The assistant police commissioner for the Bougainville Police Service Paul Kamuai said his officers are working very hard to bring in the escapees. He said the officers are aware of the escapee’s whereabouts but they need help from the communities to help bring in the escapees,
