Partnership signing Ceremony for the K23 million Sirunki Innovative Agro Industry Project in Enga between the Enga Provincial Government and the Israel IAI Team. The project is to build and develop a facility that provides a nucleus farm and estate that provides extention support services and marketing opportunities for local vegetable produced in Enga. Project to commence in 5 weeks with construction expected to be completed in 10-11 months. Partnership and project outcomes; Project to produce 2,100 tonnes of vegetables per year of which 320 local households in the area will be assisted to grow 1,100 tonnes earning K6,000.0 each. A total of K2 million to the rural farmer and local economy per year. Direct employment for 100 Engans at the facility. Training of 12 young Engans in Israel in Agriculture Trade skills annually for the life of the project beginning 2016.
